IoT devices for monitoring and improving indoor air quality
Radoff is an innovative SME that invests in research and development of innovative solutions to combat indoor pollution, improving people's well-being and protecting their health by improving air quality.
Indoor pollution is a global issue: according to the WHO, it is one of the main risk factors for health. In particular, radon is an invisible, colorless, and odorless radioactive gas classified as a Class 1 carcinogen. Radoff was created to offer an accessible, non-invasive, and highly technological solution capable of solving this problem in a concrete way.
The project aims to develop an IoT system for real-time monitoring of indoor contaminants (radon, PM, VOC, CO₂) with intelligent remediation technology that uses AI to automatically intervene on air quality by reducing pollutants and radon concentrations; to validate the system through experiments in real environments, certifying its reliability and effectiveness; and to create a scalable business model, ready for commercialization in both domestic and public settings.
Tests conducted have confirmed the reduction in pollutants, validating the product's effectiveness. Thanks to the integration of proprietary sensors and cloud platforms, Radoff Life guarantees continuous monitoring, active mitigation, and data reporting. Radoff has obtained the necessary certifications for commercialization (CE, FCC, ISED, ENEA) and has entered into strategic partnerships with institutions and research bodies.
In addition to protecting health, the positive impact translates into lower social and healthcare costs, greater workplace safety, and more efficient use of energy resources.
Radoff's innovation is thus proving crucial in the landscape of smart cities and environmental sustainability, offering solutions ready to improve the quality of life in schools, offices, accommodation facilities, and private homes.
